Level 2 diagnostic and system board LEDs

The following illustration shows the location of the LEDs on the level 2 diagnostic
panel, which is attached to the same metal frame as the hot-swap drive backplane.
You can view the diagnostic panel LEDs through a special cutout area on the top
cover, to the right of the cover-release latch. However, to determine the exact
source of the error condition in the server, you might need to remove the top cover
to view the location of a specific error LED on the system board.

Description
The default position is pins 1 and 2.
See "Recovering the BIOS code" on page 18 for additional
information.
Changing the position of this jumper bypasses the power-on
password check if the jumper has been moved since the
server was last powered on. Move the jumper back to the
default position after the password is overridden. The default
position is pins 1 and 2.
Changing the position of this jumper does not affect the
administrator password check if an administrator password
is set.
