    Sometimes the first error to occur causes additional errors. In this case, the server displays more than one error message. Always follow the suggested action instructions for the first error message that appears. The following sections contain the error codes that might appear in the detailed test log and summary log when running the diagnostic programs.

    In the following example, a Remote Supervisor Adapter is installed in an xSeries 330 server. The xSeries 330 server with the Remote Supervisor Adapter will act as the gateway interconnect network, forwarding system-management data generated by the other systems in the ASM interconnect network bus to the system-management administration system that is connected to the network.

This view shows the top server in a rack of xSeries servers with a Remote Supervisor Adapter installed. The xSeries 330 with the Remote Supervisor Adapter will act as the network interconnect, forwarding system-management data generated by the other systems in the ASM interconnect network bus to the system management administration system that is connected to the network.
