7. Remove the
heat
sink.
NOTE:
When removing the system board as a pre-requisite step, you may remove the system board with the heat sink
installed to maintain the thermal bond between the heat sink and the system board.
NOTE:
Ensure that your computer is in Service Mode. For more information see, step 6 in
