INTRODUCTION NOTE: This operation manual, sold with the distributor, is to make the user familiar with the principles of correct operation and maintenance of the machine. Read carefully this operation manual and learn about the design and operation of this fertiliser distributor and its components.
  • Page 8: Restrictions Regarding Using Public Roads

During operation and transport, the machine has to be lifted by means of the hydraulic lift of the tractor. Do not distribute any other materials than the ones that the distributor is intended for. Do not fill the load container with fertiliser with disassembled or lifted relieving screens. Exceeding permissible load capacity can result in an accident.
  • Page 9: Noise And Vibrations

    4. NOISE AND VIBRATIONS The mean value of noise emitted by the fertiliser distributor in operation does not exceed 74 dB (A). The noise level was measured when the machine was stationary in accordance with Annex D of PN-EN 1553:2002. When operating the fertiliser distributor, the operator should stay in the cabin of the tractor or be wearing hearing protectors.
  • Page 10 K - 257 Meaning: Do not move close to the rotating distribution discs. Do not touch any moving machine parts. Wait until the moving parts come to a complete stop. Turn off the PTO and the engine and remove the key from the tractor’s ignition prior to attempting to replace the distributor’s disc or adjust the blades.
  • Page 11 K - 255 Meaning: Hazard caused by rotating machine parts. Never touch the rotating shafts, distribution discs, etc. K - 003 Meaning: Transport hook point marking. Check carefully whether the purchased fertiliser distributor has not been damaged during transport to the customer as well as whether the machine has been fully equipped, in accordance with the order.

The power is transmitted to the mixer shaft 5 from the bevel gear 2 by means of chain transmission 6. Fig.
  • Page 15: Operation And Use

    4. Operation and use The fertiliser distributor can be operated by a single individual – the tractor driver. The fertiliser distributor has been designed to be used with tractors equipped with an external hydraulic system. 5. Machine operation The following recommendations should be observed in order to achieve the proper quality of the distributor operation: - Do not load clumped or contaminated fertilisers into the fertiliser container.

    3. Fertiliser distribution rate adjustment The adjustment of the opening by means of the lever in order to achieve an adequate fertiliser distribution rate is made based on the distribution data table, taking into account the fertiliser product line, working width, estimated working speed and the required fertiliser distribution rate.

  • Page 25 4.1 Adjustment of the working width The actual working width is determined by physical qualities of the used fertiliser. The most important ones include the following: grain-size distribution, specific weight, slipperiness of the external surface as well as moisture content. Depending on the fertiliser type, LM discs (Fig. 3) enable operating with different working widths.

  • Page 29 4.2. Distribution dose control The control test is recommended for every change of the type of the distributed fertiliser. The distribution test (the so-called calibration test) is performed with the PTO in motion, during the travel over a measured road distance or stationary. Tests performed on a measurement distance are more precise as they reflect the real working conditions.
