System Board
Description
System board (includes thermal material)
The system board is secured to the computer with six screws.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
When replacing the system board, make sure the following components are removed from the
defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:

Memory modules
●
Expansion cards
●
Heat sink
●
Processor
4.
Remove the fan from the chassis
5.
Rotate the drive cage to its upright position.
6.
Rotate the power supply to its full upright position.
7.
Disconnect all data and power cables from the system board.
8.
Disconnect the balance of the cables from the system board.
9.
Remove the six screws that secure the system board to the chassis.
10.
Slide the system board away from the rear of the computer to disengage the ports, and then lift
the board up and out of the chassis.
