Manual reset
Manual reset
If the slide switch on the device is set to "MAN", you can acknowledge faults in the following
ways:
• Trip reset (process image of the outputs via IO-Link)
• TEST/RESET button on the 3RB24 overload relay
• SF/RESET button on the 3RA6935-0A operator panel
• Remote reset: Remote reset can be implemented electrically by jumpering terminals Y1
and Y2.
Automatic restart!
Can result in death, serious injury, or property damage.
The motor switches on again when the following condition is met:
• the overload relay is in automatic mode, and following the reset, the pending control
Manual reset must not be used in applications where there is a risk of serious injury to persons
or substantial damage to property if the motor starts up again unexpectedly.
Make sure that the machine danger zone is kept clear of people at the time of restarting.
