Using the remote commander Remote sensor You can use this remote commander to operate the unit and a Sony TV. To operate this unit, point at the remote sensor on the unit. To operate the TV, point at the remote sensor on the TV. -

Step 3 Connecting the unit AERIAL OUT Aerial cable (supplied) AERIAL IN to mains : Signal flow Disconnect the aerial cable from your TV AERIAL and connect it to AERIAL IN on the rear panel of the unit. Connect AERIAL OUT of the unit and AERIAL the aerial input of your TV using the supplied aerial cable. - Page 7 • You can also use LINE 2 OUT jacks on the front of the unit. Step 4 Tuning your TV to the unit If you have connected your unit to the TV using the audio/video cable, skip this step. ON/STANDBY ON/STANDBY Press ON/STANDBY to turn on the unit. If the connected TV or other audio equipment is monaural or simulates stereo, you cannot get a clear effect. • (SLV-KA200TK only) You can use the SURROUND function only with stereo sound sources played back on equipment connected to the LINE 1/2 jacks on the unit. When you use the LINE 1 IN jacks, set AUDIO INPUT MODE on the rear of the unit to STEREO. -

Adjusting the picture Adjusting the tracking TRACKING AUTO/MANU Although the unit automatically adjusts the tracking when playing a tape, distortion may occur if the tape was recorded in poor condition. If so, manually TRACKING adjust the tracking. NORMAL/ Press $/4 TRACKING SLOW NORMAL/SLOW to obtain the best possible picture. -
