    If the connected TV or other audio equipment is monaural or simulates stereo, you cannot get a clear effect. • (SLV-KA200ME/MJ/PS only) You can use the SURROUND function only with stereo sound sources played back on equipment connected to the LINE 1/2 jacks on the unit. When you use the LINE 1 IN jacks, set AUDIO INPUT MODE on the rear of the unit to STEREO.

    Adjusting the picture Adjusting the tracking TRACKING AUTO/MANU Although the unit automatically adjusts the tracking when playing a tape, distortion may occur if the tape was recorded in poor condition.     If a cleaning cassette is not available in your area, have the heads cleaned at your nearest Sony service facility (a standard service charge will be required). Do not use a commercially available wet-type cleaning cassette, as it may damage the video heads.
