Connecting control cable
• Connect the control cables as described in Chapter "Communication Options (Page 84)", or
according to the equipment documentation supplied.
• Use shielded, twisted pair cables for the connection of signal lines in order to increase the
signal quality.
• When selecting cables and conductors and installing them, it is essential that you observe
the information provided in Chapter "Protective separation according to EN 61800-5-1
(Page 95)".
• Instructions for EMC-compliant installation is provided in Chapter "Install and connect in
accordance with EMC. (Page 48)".
• You can find additional information about the control cable terminals in Chapter
"Technical data of the control cable terminals (Page 140)".

Line supply connection
6.5.1
Suitable supply line configurations
The converters are suitable TT, TN or IT supply systems, grounded or ungrounded.
Note
Malfunction resulting from interchanged phases
When connecting, ensure that the direction of rotation is correct (clockwise). If the direction
of rotation is incorrect, the converter signals a line supply fault which is then shown on the
display.
