Identify the LCB Types
You can identify the two types of LCBs (bases and expansions) by the
different numbering of the ARC slots, and by the connectors on the right
side of the front of the chassis.
The LCB base (LCBB) has:
ARC slots labeled +0 through + 14
Two connectors for the cables to the:
– LIC 11
– LCB expansion.

+4 +5 +6 +7
The LCB expansion (LCBE) has:
ARC slots labeled +16 through + 30
One connector for the cable going to the LCB base.
