After turning on your TV, it may take a while (1 minute or less) before the picture appears. When the projection lamp wears out, the screen goes dark. Replace the lamp with a new Sony XL-2400 replacement lamp (not supplied). How to replace the lamp, see page 5. Warning The light emitted from the lamp is quite bright when your TV is in use.
Take the new lamp out of the box. Use a Sony XL-2400 replacement lamp (not supplied) for Do not touch the glass portion of the new replacement. Use of any other lamp may damage the projection TV.
