Operating System Overview
The Model 745 uses the standard HP-UX 10.20 or later operating system, a
highly versatile system for multitasking, running your application programs,
and performing a variety of development tasks. Refer to HP-UX System
Administration Tasks for detailed installation and operation procedures for
HP-UX.
When systems are configured at the factory, a specific HP-UX kernel con-
figuration is chosen. If you reload HP-UX after receiving your system, you
must reconfigure the kernel according to the directions in Chapter 9.
