2.5.2 Connecting Low DC Power

Note

For secure, reliable connections under severe shock or vibration, use M3.5 ring

tongues with a maximum outer diameter of 7 mm (0.28 in). Make sure no bare

metal is exposed beyond the safety cover.

Connect the positive wire from the power source to the positive (+) terminal on

the terminal block.

Connect the negative wire from the power source to the negative (-) terminal on

the terminal block.

For screw terminal blocks, install the safety cover.

Using a #10 ring tongue and #10-32 screw, secure the ground terminal on the

power source to the ground connection on the device. Make sure the screw is

tightened to 2.4 N·m (9.5 lbf·in).
