MAKE SURE THAT THE VENUE FIT™ SCANNER AND ALL PERIPHERALS ARE SECURELY MOUNTED IN PLACE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO MOVE IT. ULTRASOUND PROBES ARE HIGHLY SENSITIVE MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS THAT CAN DANGER EASILY BE DAMAGED BY IMPROPER HANDLING.

    Venue Fit™ Battery Safety NOTE: The Venue Fit™ ultrasound scanner is supplied with one lithium ion battery in the battery bay. The lithium ion battery provides power for scanning, safely shutting down the system or placing it in Standby mode, when an AC power source is interrupted or the AC power cable is disconnected from the wall outlet.

The UDI label consists of a series of Rear panel or alpha-numeric characters and barcode which e-Label uniquely identify the Venue Fit system as a medical device manufactured by General Electric. Scan or enter the UDI information into the patient health record as required by country-specific laws.

    The user is responsible for the data on the Venue Fit™ and a regular backup is highly recommended. If the Venue Fit™ is sent for repair, ensure that any patient information is backed up and erased from the Venue Fit™ before shipping. It is always possible during system failure and repair to lose patient data.

    Ultrasound machines are susceptible to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from radio frequencies, magnetic fields, and transients in the air or wiring. They also generate EMI. The Venue Fit™ ultrasound unit complies with limits as stated on the EMC label. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular setup.

    Heat problems are usually starting when the Venue Fit™ has been ON for some time. If the Venue Fit™ has been used for scanning for some time before the noise appears, it may be due to either heat problems or some software related issues. By doing a restart you may learn some more about the cause.
