Connecting the cable to the system

For coils with an HD connector: Connect the Wrist Array Coil into the HD phased array port (A or B or C)
depending on the system configuration.
For Coils with a P-Port connector: Connect the Wrist Array Coil into the P-Port at the magnet end of the
table.
Ensure that the coil is connected to the system at all times while in the bore.
Burn Hazard.
Remove this coil from the MR System when not plugged in. Failure to do so may result in

injury and/or damage to the coil.
Do not cross or loop cables. Arching and patient burns could result.
Warning

Patient hearing protection

Provide earplugs for the patient after all instructions have been given.
Hearing protection is required for all people in the scan room during a scan to prevent
hearing impairment. Acoustic levels may exceed 99 dB(A). Hearing protection must have a
Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 28dB or better.
