4 Enable Services
1. Open Customize account Information
from the Console Actions Work Area and
fill in the fields. (Ensure all pages are
completed)
2. When complete select Save.
3. Open Enable Hardware Management
Console Services from the Console
Actions Work Area
The Enable Hardware Management
Console Service panel displays.
4. Press F1 for detailed help to enable the
fields on this panel that you want.
Note: You may have more than one
Hardware Management Console to
install. Only Hardware
Management Console with all CPC
within the DOMAIN defined to it
should be LIC Change enabled.
5. select Ok when complete.
The Hardware Management Console
Services Complete panel displays.
6. Select Ok.
Note: Phone Server must be enabled to establish
a IBM support connection.
Note: Optical Error Analysis must be enabled for
the Hardware Management Console to act
as Problem Analysis focal point for
problems occurring on ESCON, FICON, or
Coupling Facility channel links.
