Tips Poor picture quality The aerial picks up interf e rence or is not properly oriented with respect to the transmitter. The proximity of mountains or high buildings may be responsible for ghost pictures, echoes or shadows. If this is the case, change the orientation of the outside aerial. Glossary ACI (Automatic Channel Installation): System used by some cable networks providing automatic installation and sorting of programmes. EXT: Designates the euroconnectors on the back of the TV set. Menu: List of words displayed, when requested, on the screen. Each word corresponds to an adjustment or a function of the television. RGB: This refers to the three video signals Red, Green and Blue which directly drive the three emitters in the cathode ray tube.
