Viewing a DVD movie After you install the DVD drive and DVDExpress, you can view a DVD movie. You first need to set the DVD region code for your DVD content, however. DVD region codes Regional coding is part of the scheme for protecting the contents of a DVD. The world is divided into six regions so that specific content can be viewed only in the region where it is appropriate.
Start DVDExpress by inserting the DVD into the DVD drive. The region code is automatically set and you can see the movie. This is the initial setting. After the region code has been set, if you insert a DVD whose region code is different, you are prompted if you want to change the region code.
Troubleshooting Problem Cause and action When you play This message appears if you reboot or restart your DVDExpress with ThinkPad computer with the DVD-ROM left in the Windows 98 or DVD drive. Remove the DVD-ROM from the drive Windows 95, the “No and then reinsert it.
