Chapter 1. The System x3650 Type 7979 server
The IBM
suited for networking environments that require superior microprocessor
performance, efficient memory management, and flexibility.
The server has two model styles, which are based on the size and number of hard
disk drive bays:

considerations in the design of the server. These design features make it possible
for you to customize the system hardware to meet your needs today and provide
flexible expansion capabilities for the future.

The server contains IBM X-Architecture
performance and reliability. For more information, see "What your server offers" on
page 5 and "Reliability, availability, and serviceability features" on page 7.
