Using an incompatible battery may increase the risk of fire or explosion. Replace the battery only with a compatible battery purchased from Dell. The lithium-ion battery is designed to work with your Dell computer. Do not use a battery from other computers with your computer. -

Enter system setup, review your computer’s configuration information, and ensure that the device you want to test displays in system setup and is active. Start the Dell Diagnostics from either your hard drive or from the Drivers and Utilities CD (also known as the ResourceCD). - Page 23 Starting the Dell Diagnostics From the Drivers and Utilities CD NOTE: The Drivers and Utilities CD is optional and may not ship with all computers.
