1 tum VOLUME so that the volume for
the front speakers is set to your normal
listening volume.
2 Press DOBLY PRO LOGIC ON/OFF.
The ON/OFF lamp lights up.
3 Press DOBLY PRO LOGIC CENTER
repeatedly until the mode you want
appears in the display. Each time you
press the button, the display changes as
follows:
NORMAL — PHANTOM —> 3CH LOGIC
4 Press T. TONE ON/OFF on the remote.
The test tone is automatically generated
by each speaker in one of the sequences
shown below. (The channel
corresponding to the speaker currently
generating the tone flashes in the
display.)
eWhen in NORMAL mode:
Front left —+ Center —+ Front right —> Rear
eWhen in PHANTOM mode:
Front —» Rear
eWhen in 3CH LOGIC mode:
Front left — Center — Front right
5 while sitting in your normal listening
position, adjust the volume using
CENTER LEVEL +/- and REAR LEVEL
+/-on the remote so that the volume
that you hear from each speaker is at the
same level. (When you turn VOLUME
on the amplifier, the volume changes for
all speakers.)
6 After you have finished making all
adjustments, press T. TONE ON/OFF to
shut off the test tone.
Notes
¢ The test tone is produced only when the
DOLBY PRO LOGIC mode is selected.
e If you change your listening and viewing
position, you should perform the test
adjustment again.

1 Press DOLBY PRO LOGIC ON/OFF (or
PRO LOGIC ON/OFF on the remote).

2 Press DOLBY PRO LOGIC CENTER
repeatedly until the mode you want
appears in the display.
Each time you press the button, the
display changes as follows:
NORMAL — PHANTOM — 3CH LOGIC
When you use the supplied speakers,
select NORMAL mode.

Logic Surround Modes."
Note
The audio emphasis is will be canceled
automatically when you turn on the Dolby
Pro Logic Surround.
