3.3 Description of UC 300/400
Touchscreen
The charging station is equipped with a centralized Human Machine Interface (HMI)
SIPLUS HMI KTP700 Basic has a touch screen with a 7" display in widescreen format. The large
viewing angle of the display makes it easier to recognize the operating information from
different viewing directions. To adapt the display to different lighting situations, the backlight of
the display can be dimmed over a wide range of brightness.
Emergency Stop button
The charging station is equipped with an emergency Stop button
Stop button in a hazardous situation, the charging station immediately stops charging. The
charging station switches to the safe emergency stop state. The touch screen displays
the "Emergency Stop" alarm message (Page 143). For safety reasons, the charging station
cannot be operated in emergency stop state. The charging station only returns to its normal
operating state after the button has been reset.
Lock system
To protect the charging station from unauthorized opening, the door of the charging station is
equipped with a lock system. The door locks
inside of the charging station. You need a special door key to open the device doors. The door
key is included in the delivery.
