SIM connector board
Description
SIM module for models with WWAN
NOTE:
This section applies only to computer models with WWAN capability.
NOTE:
If there is a SIM inserted in the SIM slot, it must be removed before disassembling the
computer. Be sure that the SIM is reinserted in the SIM slot after reassembling the computer.
Before removing the SIM connector board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the speaker. (see
Remove the SIM connector board:
1.
Disconnect the SIM connector board cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Remove the 2 Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws (2) that secure the SIM connector board to the system
board.
3.
Remove the SIM connector board (3).
