    SECTION 1 PRECAUTION SAFETY PRECAUTIONS (1) The design of this product contains special hardware and many circuits and components specially for safety purposes. For continued protection, no changes should be made to the original design unless authorized in writing by the manufacturer. Replacement parts must be identical to those used in the original circuits.
  • Page 4 INSTALLATION 1.2.1 HEAT DISSIPATION If the heat dissipation vent behind this unit is blocked, cooling efficiency may deteriorate and temperature inside the unit will rise. The temperature sensor that protects the unit will be activated when internal temperature exceeds the pre-determined level and power will be turned off automatically.

  • Page 8 TECHNICAL INFORMATION 2.5.1 PDP STRUCTURE AND CHARACTERISTIC This unit uses the flat type panel PDP (Plasma Display Panel), instead of the conventional CRT (Cathode Ray Tube), as a display unit. 2.5.1.1 PIXEL (CELL) ARRAY PDP is constructed by sealing the xenon, which emits neon and ultraviolet rays for discharging purpose, in between the electrodes lay on the front glass substrate and rear glass substrate.
