    Getting Started Hooking up the system A Antennas Set up the AM loop antenna, then connect Extend the FM lead antenna horizontally Note Keep the antennas away from the speaker cords, the power cord and the USB cable to avoid picking up noise.

  • Page 14 D D-LIGHT SYNC OUT jack Connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller. You need to connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller to a lighting device* (not supplied). The lighting device will react according to the control signals transmitted by the D-LIGHT SYNC controller upon receiving music source from the system.

    Using the Radio Data System (RDS) (European model only) What is the Radio Data System? Radio Data System (RDS) is a broadcasting service that allows radio stations to send additional information along with the regular program signal. This tuner offers convenient RDS features like station name.

    Creating your own sound effect You can adjust the sound by raising or lowering the level of specific frequency band, then store up to three user equalizer settings in the memory. Press EQ BAND/MEMORY repeatedly to select a frequency band or surround effect. Turn OPERATION DIAL to adjust the level or select the surround effect you want.
