Power supply-fans
The DS4800 has two power supply-fans. Each power supply-fan contains a power
supply, a fan, and a battery charger. Each power supply provides power to the
controllers by converting incoming AC voltage to the appropriate DC voltages. If one
power supply-fan is turned off or malfunctions, the remaining power supply-fan can
maintain electrical power and cooling to the storage subsystem.
