1060 Memory module
Note: Before you start the servicing, disable the internal battery pack. See "Disabling the internal battery
pack" on page 62.
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
•
"1010 SIM card and SIM-card tray" on page 62
•
"1020 External battery pack" on page 62
•
"1040 Base cover assembly" on page 66
Removal steps of the memory module
When installing:
Insert the notched end of the memory module into the memory slot. Press the memory module in firmly,
and pivot it downward until it snaps into place. Ensure that the memory module is firmly installed in the
slot and does not move easily.
