Document scanner cleaning (Model TI8, TI9, TG8, TG9)
The scanner surface should be cleaned after 10 000 documents or every three
months or whenever image quality deteriorates.
1. Open the ribbon cover. See Figure 34.

2. Move the impact print head to its rightmost position, as shown.
