v Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem is
solved.
v See Chapter 4, "Parts listing," on page 41 to determine which components are customer replaceable units
(CRU) and which components are field replaceable units (FRU).
v If an action step is preceded by "(Trained service technician only)," that step must be performed only by a
Trained service technician.

2018003
One or more option Roms were disabled.
3018000
TPM communication failure.
3018001
Primary FW bank signature invalid.
3018002
Secondary FW bank signature invalid.
Action
1. Run the Setup utility (see "Using the Setup
utility" on page 21). Select Start Options from
the menu and modify the boot sequence so that
you change the load order of the optional-device
ROM code.
2. Run the Setup utility (see "Using the Setup
utility" on page 21) and disable unused resource
to make more space available:
v Select Start Options
v Select Planar Ethernet (PXE/DHCP) to disable
the on-board Ethernet controller ROM.
v Select Advanced Functions, followed by PCI
Bus Control, and then PCI ROM Control
Execution to disable the ROM of the adapters
in the PCI slots.
v Select Devices and I/O Ports to disable any of
the on-board devices.
3. If the problem remains, replace the following
components one at a time in the order shown,
restarting the server each time:
v Expansion cards (see "Removing an I/O
expansion card" on page 71 and "Installing an
I/O expansion card" on page 75).
v (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board (see "Removing the
system-board assembly" on page 97 and
"Installing the system-board assembly" on
page 98).
(Trained service technician only) Replace the system
board (see "Removing the system-board assembly"
on page 97 and "Installing the system-board
assembly" on page 98).
1. Run the Setup utility (see "Using the Setup
utility" on page 21), select Load Default Settings,
and save the settings.
